Not really. You just need to drive your car for a few minutes to see how many unspeakable bell ends there are. Would I wish death on them, no but would I care that they died eventually for whatever reason? No, just like many people dont care that millions of people die every day.

So you've died and a small child who could have had a matching life saving organ from you dies too, directly because of your despicable selfish attitude, how you can try and justify it is beyond comprehension.

Yes but then I might not save obnoxious ***** like yourself so I've done the world a favour. It's the gamble isn't it. I would like to save some people and not others.

Generally there are far more bell ends in the world than not and there are far too many people on the planet so......

Not much difference from those people who say charity begins at home and give nothing when they could save lives.

Well at least your honest with your horrible selfish outlook on life. I wonder what you'd think if it was a kid of yours that died specifically because of someone just like you. You actually sound as if you'd not care that much.

Agree and in.

The darker side of this though.. If you know that some is a match for an issue that you have, you could kill them, then drive them to hospital to harvest their organs :o.

On the flip side, how far off are we from 'growing' organs?

On that basis would you be willing to not receive a transplant if you were in need?

It's funny she's come out with this considering corbyn said the same thing a few weeks back...

It's genius — adopt all of Labour's policies and Labour will have no choice but to swing even more to the left, making them unelectable. :D

Voted agree and in — I'm already on the organ donor register.

I agree with it, but i'm currently out, only due to apathy though.

Of course wether anyone would want my organs is a different story, but then i guess that's not going to be my problem if the time comes.

I opted out a few years ago when I renewed my drivers licence. Do I feel horrible about it ? No, but I'm still young-ish, maybe in 10/20 years my outlook will change and I decide to opt back in. Or maybe I'll die because someone opted out and I couldn't get a transplant in time...

Right. So someone could be driving like a bell end for a multitude of reasons. They could be a bell end. THey could have had a bad day. They could have a wife going in to labour. They could have soiled themselves. Anything. If you think this is reason enough to deny someone an organ which could save their lives, then you sir, are a moron.

Wait, you opted out because you are still young and don't think you are likely to need a transplant, so will deny others any from you?

What does age have to do with it?

Point out where I said I'm young and don't need a transplant. I'm young-ish and in my current way of thinking I was happy to opt out. Maybe when I'm older, have kids and have a different outlook on life my way of thinking would change and I may opt in.

I think there is a concern that, Like a car, If one is badly damaged, the medics might conclude that you are worth more broken for spares than being repaired. and that they might go to rather less effort to save you if there are people actively waiting for organs that you are a good match for.

Well that is what I read from your young-ish comment, I see now you instead imply that young people are selfish :p
