Hi guys, like the title says i'm quite new to pc building and the like, just upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with a Gigabyte GA-B350 Mobo. The cpu mentions that you can apply the 'precision boost' to the processor using the AMD Ryzen master utility but apparently there's no easy way to do this as you have to enter clock speeds and voltages manually.
What I want to know is I want a slight overclock from the current 3.2Ghz to about 3.6Ghz, what voltages would I be expected to put for this increase? Currently at 1.23750 CPU Voltage at the stock speed. What do you think would be a suitable voltage to handle 3.6?
Edit: I know these things vary system to system but what would a safe voltage be to start?
Also I am using the stock cooler at the moment, apparently it's quite good and I'm not expecting to get crazy overclocks.
Thanks for any help,
pc newbie.
