Much difference in the Krait Z370 motherboard over the MSI Pro Carbon ? not much difference in the price.

I really like the Krait design... and think it will look awesome in my new build. what do you guys think ?

I'm going to pair it with i7 8700k

It doesn't look like there is much difference in the specs but you would probably need to compare features on MSI website. The Pro Carbon has a Display Port adapter on the rear I/O instead of a DVI-D, although if you are using a gpu then it won't be used anyway. It also has support for BlueTooth. Apart from that they look pretty similar to me.

The 'Gaming' word that seems to be in all hardware these days is just marketing. No such thing as a gaming motherboard or gaming gpu etc as they can be used for non gaming tasks as well.

cool ya I was thinking that , looks like the carbon is just a little more bling bling but doesnt offer much over the krait edtion , A lot of people don't like the look of it but i think the Dragon logo will go great with my Red MSI 1080ti witch also has the dragon logo on it....

long as your happy with it dude , go for it - if your going 8700k, should be a nice upgrade from your 2nd gen i5 :D

To be honest I will keep the i5 2500k as a 2nd computer because it generally is awesome still for games, playing games on ultra 1440p res 2K and all the games play over 60 FPS on the 1080ti Np, best CPU I have ever owned! Hoping the i7 8700k will last we a good 5 years also....
