Morning all,

I bought my PC about 3 years ago for playing mainly league of legends, looking to play PUBG and potentially some other newer bits and pieces and wondered if just putting a newer GFX card in my current build would do the trick or a more complete upgrade required?

Looking at the Asus GeForce GTX 1050Ti Phoenix 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card currently on offer for £149.99 but open to suggestions.

MY current build is:
Motherboard - Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
CPU - AMD FX 4300 Quad core 3.8ghz
RAM - 16GB
GFX card - Radeon R7 260X 2GB
Power Supply - Superflower 650W

Thanks
Stu

Any of the GTX 1060 3GB versions at £179.99 is better buy then 1050ti at £149.99 performance wise but then again 1060 3GB will be bottlenecked by your cpu...

Asus GTX 1050ti is not worth £169.99 nevermind £149.99.... There are other 1050Ti cards around £128.99 price mark which is pretty much same as Asus in terms of performance...

Thanks all, sounds like a new processor would go hand in hand, I'm assuming that would mean a new motherboard also?

since you've been with Gigabye, i'll quote the lowest pricing that works solidly

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £292.47
(includes shipping: £10.50)

others will tell you to step up the CPU- i would agree :D

also say 16GB ... will agree

also strix board as another look out
