How to check if a PS4 Pro is banned online?

Hello guys I have just bought a PS4 Pro of eBay used. £190 including 2 Controllers. Seems a bit too good to be true?

Anyway I haven't received it yet to even make sure it fully works. The seller has 200 odd feedback and has been on eBay since 2009. He listed it as buy it now and I quickly picked it up. Everything seem's legit but the price. I want to use it online so don't want it to be banned what's the easiest way to check without paying for a PS+ card? Or is that the only way?

Don't you get a free trial when making a new account? If so just do that.

I did he said everything is legit and he just doesn't use it anymore.

it's a good price but I wouldn't say it's too cheap really. there's been a few deals like this:

When I came to sell my original 500gb PS4, there were a number of £199 PS4 slim bundles similar to the above and soon realised i'd barely get any more than £100. I almost kept it!

That’s true I guess. They will be a fair more deals to in the new year. If it’s all legit for 190 I’ll have a good buy. Now I just need a game haha!

Sign up to ps plus and you'll have the free games to play which are Amnesia and MGS5 which is a decent start.

PS4 came yesterday. All good. However it has a 2TB HDD rather than a 1TB. I guess the chap upgraded and forgot about it.

That is not a really cheap deal mate, got one from gumtree for £150 with 3 games and 1 controller

Yep, £190 is very good. If you got one for £150 then you must have got someone wanting to fund their bad habits ASAP

I thought Sony blocked PSN ID's not the console itself ala xbox 360.

Dont know about PS4 but 360s could be and were hardware banned, usually for playing pirated games with the DVD Firmware modded.
With that and the RROD buying a second hand 360 was kinda stupid.
MS don't ban consoles for anything else as far as I know, but they do ban accounts for fraud, and hand out communications bans for being an asshat online.
