What Res do you game at ?

Drop in a second hand i7 4790k Nd overclock if, maybe with an AIO

And a GTX 1070/80 or Vega 56

If you haven't got a gaming Sync monitor, no maybe the perfect time to grab one .

Just trying to guage if you went full upgrade route - using your case and storage, may be able to list PSU but you've not stated it , and just included a screen as in case

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,499.04
(includes shipping: £14.10)

But as above, give thought to getting i7 4790k

Pretty much what orbitalwalsh said, a monitor with sync to your graphics card is a great addition and something you notice when playing. What storage you got, ssd?

Storage is jsutr a hard drive lmao, power supply is a corsair 750w, im thinking of just upgrading the whole system and replacing it, then this can be a daily driver.

You need to get an SSD, it’s the damn law! It’s one of the best things you can do to make an upgrade worthwhile if you are on a bog standard hd upgrading to an ssd is immense

If the above Ryzen with screen doesn't quite float your boat for part upgrade and you want to keep your old system

Water kit to keep you entertained whilst building

I think im just gonna replace the whole system tbh. ty for the rec

Nothing much up with that CPU. I would first upgrade the graphics card. With a 1070 for example you will notice a massive difference playing games. Ditch the SCSI and get two new drives, an 256GB SSD for the OS and 1tb SATA or more for work data and games and so on. You will notice a massive difference in speed with the SSD, and you might as well get a modern 1TB+ drive because they will be faster and cheaper. As someone said, since you need a new graphics card, may be the time to invest in a good sync monitor. But, anyway, right now the CPU is the strongest component so I wouldn't replace that just yet.
