im having the same exact issue with my board! first time with a k series chip so i thought i was going insane and missing some kind of power saving setting or something. like you said only program iv been able to get a realistic reading from is hwinfo64

Hi guys,

I have the above motherboard and can't get a proper Vcore reading from CPUID's CPU-Z or HWMonitor. Under idle conditions it shows as around 0.3v and under load around 0.6v. This is while at stock in UEFI or overclocked with a manual 1.2v right up to 1.3v. The only application that reads something close to what I set in the UEFI is HWiNFO64.

I found a thread over on the Asus forums with another guy and the same issue. This may be limited to the WiFi version of the board as our very own gavinh87 does not have this problem on his non-WiFi board.
Report it here >> https://www.cpuid.com/bug-report.html

They fixed mine when sandybridge was launched and I had an incorrect voltage reading.

Use a voltage meter.... No software is ever as accurate. Once you verified it's fine use your pc.
