It's not worth buying a ps4 pro, is it...

I've had an impulse to swap my PS4 for a pro(brand new) for £130 cash on top. I don't have a 4k TV, I have a 32" HD Samsung TV.
Although I've recently got GT sport and want to play it in the best performance and visuals overall.

Will I notice that much of a difference? Is this a pointless action lol? Does it have less lag on the menus on the system too lol?

Should I sell my TV and buy a 4k 40" used somewhere?

Anyone have any experience?

I'd only bother to upgrade when I get a HDR 4k TV (waiting for my 5 year old 55" LED to die). Otherwise what's the point?

Can't really answer if it worth it or not for you

As £130 can be pocket change to some people and a few months savings to other people

Wouldn't bother as your tv isn't 4k or have hdr imo. I have a pro on my 4k tv and launch ps4 on my old smart tv, there is a difference but it is game dependant.

What's the biggest difference? I do also pc game, so can play it on there, it's just racing games+ exclusives are on PS4 haha

I have a Pro on a 1080p 50” and it’s worth it to me.

The downsampling is fantastic on GT Sport.

I like the additional bells and whistles it gives and if I get a 4K TV in the future I’m ready.

4k TV or not the pro is worth it. The boost mode is an awesome feature. It is just a shame most devs aren't including down sampling for 1080p users.
