New Hybrid from Volvo - The Polestar 1 - and it looks stunning!

It’s the standard Volvo dash, they’re all like that. I personally think it’s one of the better integration of a touchscreen of any manufacturer.

You could say the same about Lexus, Infiniti and Acura. :p

At least Volvo is starting as a more “premium” brand than Toyota, Honda and Nissan.

I wouldn't say they were. Certainly not on the same level as Lexus mechnically (reliability). In the old days Volvos were known for being durable road tanks, but the modern Volvos arn't like the old ones.

Theres premium, then theres Audi "premium". Where you just have an expensive interior, but the stuff that makes it go is very average :/

Coincidentally just seen a brand new V90 in the flesh which is a stunning car. Perhaps this gives hope for the Polestar looking better in the flesh than pictures..

Reliability doesn’t really have much to do with “premiumality” and product desire, otherwise the three listed would be considered more premium marques than the German brands.

Not sure what you completely mean by the the latter paragraph, but Volvo are a step up from Toyota, Honda etc and compete against the Lexus, Infiniti and Audi models. The difference is (ironically) their current tactic seem to be targeting a younger demographic than the premium German marques.

For me the idea of "premium" isn't just nice seats and dashboard, it's something that lasts as well.

It just looks so incredibly dull and uninspiring.

I think that's what they're going for though. A oremium rocket sled with very inconspiuous styling, and it pulls it off rather well. Vertical vents need to die off though, can't think of a single car which looks good with them.

Looks good and a nice homage to the Volvo's draft office's tool of choice :p

Does look nice but would nicer if they reduced the height up to the bottom of the glass, currently it looks like it's on stilts.

Volvo really are embracing their recent announcement, 93 miles on charge for something that costs 115k, NOT!
