So I'm confused, I bought the phone using the Barclays finance but from my understanding I'm now paying 14% apr on it? However if I do the upgrade program then I don't pay any APR on it, is that correct?

Just a heads up if you're having payment issues and you're with Barclay's ring up Apple and give them your card details over the phone, it sorted it for me, order status is now Order in Progress.

I was a dope, put my CC card security code in wrong when it asked me during the order process(even though I put the correct one in yesterday in preparation).
This was enough of a delay for it to change from 3rd Nov delivery to 2-3 weeks. :(

Hi guys, I’m on the upgrade program and have a reservation date for the 9th December, I’m in two minds to cancel the reservation in the hope of getting one sooner through someone cancelling e.t.c, will Apple be trickling more stock online in the next fee days? I don’t want to cancel and then have to wait even longer

You've bought it using straight finance rather than joining the upgrade programme. Upgrade programme is closed however till the 4th IIRC.

I hope people going caseless without insurance are careful..

So even though I told my missus I don’t want the iPhone X, she’s gone and ordered me one which is meant to arrive 3rd Nov.

I’ve told her to cancel the order as £1200 for a phone is just a bit silly.

I’d rather have her spend the £1200 on a holiday than the iPhone X. Plus I can wait till next year when the new iPhone comes out, hopefully it will have matured by then and have better features than what is currently on offer.

Finally got the Apple Store order going through, looks as though it was an issue with Apple Pay, Irish chap said there was a block on it. Entered the card details manually over the phone and it went through fine, delivery for the 3rd November.

Cancelled the CPW order.

I'm on the iUP for the X so this includes AppleCare Plus.

AppleCare+ for iPhone
AppleCare+ for iPhone is an insurance product that provides up to two years of expert telephone technical support (1) and hardware coverage (2), including up to two incidents of accidental damage, each subject to an excess fee of £25 for screen damage, or £79 for any other damage (3). In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone. Coverage begins on the original purchase date of your iPhone.

Are third party insurance policies any good? That's what I was going to do (first iPhone for me :p)

Was going to cover iPhone, iPad and MBP under a third party insurance...

Ahhhh ok, I'll phone up and cancel then and just wait until December 2nd or whenever my in store on is.

Thanks mate
