What spray paint to use? Corsair 400c - PSU & HDD Shroud

Hi guys,

I've got the Corsair 400C White case for my son's 1st gaming rig, but i want to spray the PSU/HDD bay shroud white. I think the black plastic looks ugly

I've never done anything like this before so was looking for some advice on which would be the best spray paint to use and how to apply it. Would I need to prime the shroud first, would I need to sand etc.

The shroud is plastic, so I'd imagine this would have some bearing on how I do this. As always, thanks in advance guys.

No best as such, we've used stuff from local diy stores and car shops and it all comes out the same.

You don't need to do all that prep work, make sure it's clean then give it a coat or two wait to dry and see if it's bright enough for you.

Thank Glanza. So basically I could pop to my local Halfords and buy a can of white car body spray?

Yeah. If your not going in 100% happy get a old piece of plastic or acrylic for a test run.

As it is plastic I would scuff the plastic first and than apply 2/3 light coats of primer
