1080/1080ti PUBG fps you get?

If you have either a 1080 or 1080ti what fps do you get in pubg on low settings? Anything I've seen so far is on the highest (ultra?) settings but I want to find out how high fps can go on low settings.

If you are kind enough to reply please mention the resolution youre using, which card you have and cpu along with roughly what your fps averages please :)

Thinking of the msi 1080ti on Ocuk now @ £720 but need a new psu then too ;(
 
I play on medium settings @ 1440p and get around 80-100 fps. Most of the game it's around 90 fps. Running a sc2 1080 ti hybrid from evga. Compared to Destiny 2, PUBG is horribly optimized.
 
Yeah it'll be better optimized down the line I hope. I'm still looking at the msi card but was hoping for 144fps ;(

I know its the game and not the card though so hopefully it'll get sorted out down the line which I imagine it will.

I've got a 530w Bequiet at the minute but am looking at probably a 750w seasonic focus for the 1080ti. Maybe gonna order that card and psu tonight the wife says she'll buy me a gift card towards it. These parts are crazy money now ;((

Fair enough. The good side is that you'll get a good amount of time out of those upgrades!!! :cool:

setting all settings to low will tax your CPU more and therefore you get zero boost to FPS. it's a very CPU hungry game.

I switched view distance from ultra to low and it made zero difference to FPS for instance.

also they patched a lot of the stuff which made it easier to spot enemies. the only thing you should have on low is AA and post processing.

foliage on ultra vs low doesn't help spot enemies any more. they patched that.

basically i hit 110 fps on ultra and about 100 fps on low. it makes absolutely zero sense to play on low. it looks awful.

Yep this looks about right to me. I got the 1080ti today and was very disappointed when I played pubg. I have found that following the exact same path and looking around in a similar way yields very similar results regardless of settings. I was at 70-80fps on the gtx1060 and now im at 60-100, im actually no better off really except its a bit smoother overall. Walking along watching the fps it dips down to 50 at random times for no apparent reason. I know its the game and not the card and my cpu (core i5 4690k) doesnt match my new card thats for sure. Though its not maxing out on cpu usage, though im worried about how assassins creed will run now.

I know pubg is only in early access but I really hope they care enough about the game to optimize it a lot more.

I also played Deus ex mankind divided which was sore on my 1060 and my fps has doubled on it at 1440p. Evil Within 2 runs at 60fps steady but never goes much higher. The 1080ti doesnt blow your socks off thats for sure.
 
I decided to replace the i5 cpu and have took parts from my other pc so now the gaming pc has a 6800k and framerates have went up considerably. Pubg now doesnt go below 100 and rarely goes below 115 but it doesnt hit 144fps as yet so hopefullt they fix the game a bit. I decided to change things up as I was struggling with assassins creed and the benchmark score has went from 6900 to 9800. Was a big enough job switching everything around but im glad I done it now. Was prob a bit naive about my i5 all along lol
 
Hi peeps.

I currently have a Ryzen 1600 system with 16gb 300mhz ram and a 1060 6gb. My monitor is a 24" 1080p jobby but I have an urge to play PUBG on a 27" monitor at 1440p. I'm really getting into the game after giving up on it about 2 months ago.

If I tweak the settings a bit do you think I could get away with dropping a 1070 (and OC it a little) into my system and run PUBG at 1440p at a decent framerate or is that too weak a card for that task?

A 1070 will be fine for nearly any game at 1440p maybe not a 144 trying to keep that fps will be tricky unless you go gsync, however due to the the buggy mess that is PUBG it'll play but you'll still get drops.
