Wolfenstein The New Colossus

I had changed the FOV but I've fixed the problem now. Reverted to booting it up safe mode then slowly cranking up the settings. I can run it fine now with no blemishes.

So, was playing The New Order and looking aorund and saw this. Knowing about Colossus now and what's happening there this poster made a bit of sense. :p

I've been keeping an eye on this because I loved the other recent Wolfenstein games. My take seems to be that I'm probably best waiting for a couple of patches to roll out before I dive in? Seem to be a lot of reports of rough edges that all sound fixable.
 
The steam forums are as to be expected about this game, waste of time filled with trolls
This game is a little buggy but no worse than most other new releases
game of the year for me

Finished the New Orleans section and my thoughts are this is one of the best games this year. The right amount of action, the size of the maps, the action plus the awesome ingame movies after you finish them is such an awesome combination. It's really like you are watching a movie, in-fact the whole crazy plot of the Wolfenstein series would make a great trilogy.

Bethesda really does awesome single player games.

Man, that courthouse section was insane. I died so many times until I started to learn the "path" on how to beat it, them guys in the white with the grenades was so annoying.

After the doors opened, I just ran away passing everyone to camp one of the ammo rooms and pushed out from that.
 
I must be rubbish at FPS... playing this on normal and keep dying! :)
I'm not even far into it... then again, downloaded the beta patch which means I can now play the game at full screen 4K with Uber settings, FOV at 100... solid 60fps.
Liking it, but urm... got Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed: Origins also grabbing me
