So you were OK with this but not OK with dipping your wick? I'd have thought it more dangerous risking death than risking being found out for a quick and nasty knee-trembler, or even a dreaded penguin.

You stopped at a kiss, you done the decent thing. Move on put it behind you and be happy that you are a decent bloke, plenty would have gone on to have sex with her.
 
All I can say is that with a guilt and tell complex like that don't try bank robbery :)

I have seen some of these "extremely attractive" girls I have chatted up when drunk in the cold light of sobriety, you probably had a near miss there, and that's being charitable in assuming she didn't have a card reader in her bag and was about to discuss her fees....

Obviously you shouldn't have allowed it to go that far. But you "pulled out" at the last minute, so to speak. So while your behaviour was not acceptable from your wife's point of view, you did at least come to your senses. I don't see any good outcome of admitting it.

However, drink driving...?
