New Build

What resolution and refresh rate is the monitor? Any Freesync/Gsync?

Building yourself?

Name a couple of fave games or games you are most looking forward to trying.

Hi looking at a new build for around £800 what route should I go as it will be used for gaming only any help would be great

Hi sorry I have a AOG G2460FQ 144Hz games will be bf1 bf3 call of duty and yes I will build myself

Hi,
I have a proposal for you. Little bit over the budget but the build is very solid and will give a good experience with the 1920x1080 @144Hz monitor.
In the future, you will be able to change the quad core processor with something better and more modern.

sure with tweeking you could get i5 K version in there, maybe asrock pro 4
i5 8400 can easily handly Ryzen 1600/1700 at PURE GAMING

Intel supporters will always find a reason why to recommend avoiding AMD Ryzen. Even if the latter is better in everything. They will find something artificial to cripple the recommendations :D

I can send a snap shot of my AMD NDA if you'd like - expired :D

you quoted a Ryzen build so went with Intel- as they finally-ish have a decent line up after sooo many years of milking peoples money - and more people support AMD, the better competition will get :D

Gaming only requirement. 1080p. 144Hz so plenty of frames desirable. Which will give the OP more frames, Ryzen or Intel?

We lie the person. Because it's a myth that Intel offers better gaming experience. Experience isn't only what the FPS monitor screen shows and how big that number is...
