would change the Strix for Aorus Xtreme- 4 years warranty instead of 3 and better rep/customer support but the card has internal HDMI inputs

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £299.89
(includes shipping: £9.90)

Help a member on here to build a VR machine- Asus Mobo with Aorus card and HDMI/USB 3 ports at the front of the case

Please see his posted pics?

Although does mean a change of case that has a 5.3" Bay liek the Pure Base 600 used above- which is roughly the same price along with glass

sorry, miss read your text, seems like you already have a Strix 1060? if so its a solid card to be fair - wouldn't bother changing it

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes I do already have a strix. The minimum specs for the pimax is 1070 so I'm debating between an 1070 or 1080. I know there's a lot to choose from which is why I'm hoping to get some advice from you guys. I also thought as I'd be getting the card I'd get a new monitor to take advantage of it.

Pimark... Ti! hahaha have you seen the 8K X version ;) dual Ti's!!!!

there is the 1070 GTX Ti which is slap bang in the middle of pricing

As I'm primarily looking to upgrade for vr I'm looking at a 1080 gtx ti. I know it's a bit pricey but it will be good for a few years to come.. Question I have is.... Is it worth getting a 4k monitor as well or stick with what I have.

Stick with it a little , only because 4k 60+ monitors are coming out soon, or ultra with 1440p will see above 100hz to. Ti still isn't a full 4k card but your screen will last you 7+ years !
And Google Pimax 5k/8k !!!!!!!!!
There's a section on the VR thread

Thanks again. I'm definitely getting a 1080 gtx ti . just need to decide which one. Something to think about re the monitor as well

to be honest, most of the cards are golden , Zotac 5 year warranty (3 UK 2 HK), Aorus Xtreme 4 year warranty and one internal HDMI, Strix which does look good but warranty stickers on screws, evga - nice 2nd hand offical warranty
