Noisy Neighbours

Ah I call that whole area abbey meads as I don't know it very well. I'm in rodbourne, a quiet part, only been here a year and its ok so far, no douchey neighbours but this town is full of chavs, its got worse over the last 10yrs.

Its an alright area quiet apart from the T**ts above... I know Rodbourne very well, Your right about the Chavs in this town they're everywhere :p im Bristol born and bred and i thought that place was bad :p

Thanks for all the replies guys, Some helpful information, me and the missus have decided to start recording everything and logging it all down... Fingers crossed this will help us out. We are due our baby girl in March and will be looking to move to a 3 bed house then so its not to much longer we will need to put up with it but its horrible living with people like them above you :(

Move now it's a nightmare with a small child!

do you own it and if you don't mind losing some ceiling height and space? if so you can soundproof it which will cut a huge amount of the noise down. and unlike the other poster does not cost huge amounts (still talking several thousand though.
calculator here to see costs.

probably looking around 2k per room (for ceiling and all walls)

otherwise, move. but if all you can afford is a flat, then you only really have sound proofing as you can never know who will move into the other flat/flats. and is what i am planning to do.
recording it might be a solution in the end, but i have never heard of this way resolving it in any reasonable time frame, then who knows who will move in after that.

edit- if your planning to move i wouldn't bother doing anything, march is pretty darn close.

We rent this flat so we will have to put it back to the way we entered it when we leave, I think we will have to just put up with it until march, as you say it's very close, I think the way our housing association tell us to deal with it is pretty bad, Yet when i parked in his allocated space and P***ed him off, He complained and they wrote to us  makes no sense
