I manged to order one from John Lewis to collect tomorrow. What are the disadvantages from Buying fromJL instead from Apple. I have always got my iPhones from Apple. Will I be able to take to the store and expect the same customer service or will they tell me to take it to JL if there are any problems in the future that is.

Don't JL give 2 years warranty? In which case, much better.

None, better warranty by default. 2 instead of 1 year. The second year is with JL themselves.

Picked mine up from O2 Milton Keynes today at 08:00, only three people queuing with me - was really quick.

For some reason I cant download any apps from store on 4g, they just say Waiting or Loading

Face ID doesn't have great reliability with the phone resting flat in front of me, have to get my heads angle right to unlock. Otherwise it's working nicely.

Just received mine from o2, not sure what to make of it so far. Initial thoughts were it's a nice size, bezels are chunky and display is yellow. (Turning true tone off seems to have resolved that though.) Maybe it's a grower.

You can sell it in the MM but not for more than what you purchased it for.

Yes, I'm on a note 8 too, having them side by side really makes you appreciate the quality of the Note's display.

Yeah, options all over the place too. The UI isn't it's strongest point.

Most apps are fine, ones that aren't supported properly have huge black borders top and bottom.

Been playing about with my X for an hour now and it's awesome. Screen looks amazing with no defects thankfully and Face ID works perfectly everytime I've tried it
