Same here. It's only my Mortgage so not that much of an issue but pretty embarrassing for their devs since all my other banking apps work fine.

I hope more apps update quickly seeing apps like Nationwide taking up tha full screen and working great with Face ID and then seeing crap like the Barclaycard app with no biometric login at all and ugly black bars is quite the contrast. Heck even Facebook managed to support the X in time!
I had the same thing, I removed it and reinstalled and it was ok after that. App is still a little unstable but it works, works fine with Face ID as well.

Checked it out some more during my lunch break.
No issues with FaceID seems to work as designed.
Whites tend still be slightly yellow even with True Tone off.
Glass back = fingerprint magnet. ( not scratches btw )
Definitely appreciate it more the more time I spend with it, but that's down to the quality of the software not the hardware. I could probably get the same satisfaction on previous models. If it was £350 cheaper I may be tempted to keep it but not at £1150, curiosity satisfied.

Carphone warehouse gave me £320 for my 32GB 7. So the X hasn’t cost me quite as much..
