How is screen size going from a 7+? I find the 6/7/8 all feel like toy phones now and their size screen is just too small for me now. So hearing from someone who's doing the same as me helps.

I'm coming from a 7+ and it feels small. I think it's the width that I'm noticing because the screen is significantly narrower.

The screen feels the same size to look at and use as my 7+, but the device is much smaller.

Feels too narrow for me. Still got my 7+ and comparing them side by side the X is a lot narrower.

You guys are like buses :p

As long as the screen gives much more usable space than the non pluses I think I'll be OK. I have got used to my behemoth of a phone though.

Also the grey bar at the top of Safari doesn’t disappear anymore? Lots of unused space. Looks like unupdated apps run in regular mode not Plus mode aswell, less screen real estate so far. Much more one hand friendly though.

It does with all the same places* that take contactless cards

* Apparently some don't work with Apple pay but I'm yet to come across one that doesn't, even when they aren't sure themselves if it works

Mine has been delivered home but not going to be back to later this evening. Im moving from a 5S so im hoping to notice a big difference!

went to bluewater to see orient express at the cinema. went to find the iphone x and found one on demo at john lewis.

so if you really want to see one and are local to bw.....

having asked around the retailers at BW they had 30-40 units each.

I'm missing Touch ID already. Having to reach over (when it's sat on my desk to my right) and tip the phone up so it can see my face to unlock it is going to become tiresome very quickly I think.
Much like when I got annoyed with my Nexus 6P that had the fingerprint sensor on the back.

No chance of my losing this one to the Mrs. When she saw it she said "Why did you downgrade to a smaller phone?"

Had a play again at the apple store, glad it still feels like a one handed device generally.

Swiping down from the right didn't seem to cause me much issue.

The FaceID demo application is pathetic.

Nice device in my limited use, hasn't screamed buy me now to me especially St that price... Thankfully i guess

it's not £1000 nice.
