My 7 screen scratches easily, well my last one did before I got my phone swapped out.

Always find light scratches on my screen, that show in certain light
 
Funny you guys mention the 6s Screens, returned my first one due to it picking up a ton of micro scratches after a weeks use at home, never even left the house.
Have a 8 plus now and a screen protector went on from the box and I hate having one on my phone :(

They need to improve the consistency of the font size, right now I only see real benefits in the settings app. I don't think that this will be sorted out anytime soon though so I've decided to keep my Pixel 2XL order open and return the X.

No screen protector here. They offered at the store yesterday but I politely declined.

I hate the look and feel of them and I’ve not had one for at least 5 years and been fine. I never put my phone face down and nothing else at all goes in the same pocket as of phone (left pocket always).

I really like the X. However, I would have preferred a plus sized X. They are supposedly working on a 6’3 version for 2018 - that will be the ultimate iPhone. Battery alone will be epic judging by the 8 plus reports.

Nope I think I'm spot on. It's capable of so much more but at the moment it's far too wasteful on screen space. Anyway, I've had my Pixel XL for a year now after switching from a 7 plus and I've become used to Android and it's fallacies. Android 8.1 is shaping up nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing it on the 2XL in a couple of weeks. Just hope the screen on it lasts longer for five minutes before burning in!!!
 
My impressions are that the phone is noticeable thicker in an apple leather case than 7. Operating on the go with one hand is difficult due to swipe from the bottom to unlock :/ Apple leather case was really tight fit and Not perfect alignment.

And to people that don't have it...you're not loosing much as like said previously majority of apps waste space anyway. Typing on swiftkey is terrible visual experience :)
 
It’s getting nicer the more I use it tbh. Home bar is actually an improvement, very fast and the alt tab esque app switching is brilliant.

The form factor is just awesome, it looks like a portal or something. Just a slab of screen, very cool. It no longer feels like a ‘device’.
 
I've just spent the 10 minutes or so reading the last few pages of the S8 thread. Seems like more hassle than it's worth for a phone screw that.

Had a play with an S8 in work, nice hardware, didn't like the latest Android on it at all.
 
Hmm, sort of don't mind waiting a couple of weeks now for mine as hopefully by then all the Apps that I use will be supported :D Would be nice to be able to make the text and infact everything smaller eventually...
 
Only annoyance with the phone so far is getting it out your pocket in the dark and tapping the screen only to realise you’re looking at the back :D
