I got asked the last time I used android. I **** about with computers all the time in Work. I don’t want the same with my

Just say you prefer iPhones and be done with it then. I don't know what that hassle in the s8 thread was that you were talking about but I suspect it's nothing like as bad as you are trying to make out, like setting default apps for example.

Mine on desk at work till I get back on 20th :(.

Went in Apple store in Madrid today (huge queue yesterday ) and after almost regretting getting the silver I think it looks much better in the flesh.

I have seen other people with them and they just look tatty after a while.

If I could get one that would remain nice and unnoticeable then I might be game.

Do you have any pics of yours?

Yeah i have some here which i've just taken, not easy though getting the correct angle :p

Well finally managed to grab a 256gb one today from JL.

Just in the process of restoring it from my 6s plus. Would not let me at first so updated the x and now the restore is going through.

Its shiney, shiney :)

Anyone going for the official cases ? Silicone / leather etc?
I’ve got the silicone in white love it. I’ve had there cases several years love them.

Am after a wireless charger now. Thinking getting a Samsung one for £19.99 but worries it crap. People seem be going for the Belkin

I changed from an S8 to an iPhone 7 then most recently a galaxy S7.

I have had mine since Friday morning. Super impressed all around, glorious screen, really fast and FaceID even works when I have the phone mounted on my bike and I'm wearing sun glasses and a helmet.

Camera is great etc.

Have an odd issue where I can't use the shortcuts on the lock screen though. Anyone else have this issue?

I have an immaculate screen on my 7+ after a year. It lives in my pocket with no case or just a slip case. The Mrs has an immaculate screen on her 6+ after 3 years.

I'm not a big fan of them either, but I'm even less of a fan of getting loads of little scratches on my screen. Whenever I don't get one I always regret it a year or two later, so I've got one for the X

I find that hard to believe there aren't any micro abrasions at all. No proper deep scratches I can believe

I don't see how though? It's a small price to pay for an immaculate screen.

The trouble is that it a) ruins the look of the front of the phone as it’s immediately obvious and at an angle the edges catch the light creating a rainbow effect. b) on many “swipe from the edge” gestures, you can often feel the edge of the glass with your finger (which feels naff), c) these tempered glass protectors usually scratch anyway so unless you keep replacing them, you’re essentially only saving the actual screen for the next owner / recycling company.

Are there any protectors that cover the entire front of the X, without creating a raised edge + fit with the official cases?

What are people doing to their screens?! I've yet to get a noticeable scratch on a smartphone screen...

I think you have to be quite careful and not put your phone in the same pocket as your keys or loose change as I can see how screens get scratched after 12+ months of being hammered daily against pointy bits of metal.

I will always have a glass screen protector after opening a kitchen cubbord and a can falling out onto my phone (on worktop) the screen protector shattering but leaving a perfect screen underneath.
