Hello

I just wanted to know peoples opinions about bout cards and which one is better?

GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix OR GeForce GTX 1080Ti FTW3

GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix £829.99 on overclockers
GeForce GTX 1080Ti FTW3 £799.99 on overclockers

Price does not matter to me... I have watched reviews are both are impressive, but does one have a hand up on the other?

All I am after is which will give better graphics are higher FPS in games

Thank you

The cooling is slightly better on the ASUS, temps per unit noise it is the best card out there after the amp extreme which is humongous. But then it is 2.5 slots, the FTW3 is dual slot so smaller.

Nothing in it performance wise so I’d go for your preferred option based on price, warranty, aesthetics

FTW3 for me personally is not the best card looks wise but it still is a great performer.

From experience I didn't find the strix to be really that quiet and the cooler sizes are also very similar with the FTW3 being a wider pcb.

If you want my honest opinion then get the MSI lightning X at around £830. I have one and will do 2076/2100mhz and is the coolest and quietest Ti out there from experience.

arghhh lol

Ive just seen the Titan Founders edition video... I am not sure to wait for that or get a 1080Ti

Get a Ti.

My guess is all it will be is a slightly different cooler on it possibly some higher clocks. Could be a dual chip but then you have SLI issues and £2-3000 or so.

It won't be a Volta card or a new chip as the current Titan has the full fat gp102 anyway.

Reference coolers especially the Titan are horrendous for noise and performance.

so there wont be much difference between a 1080Ti and the new Titan founders edition?
