1080Ti does not have DVI, its better for airflow.

From Anandtech: Airflow: GTX 1080 Ti vs. GTX 1080.

Having had both types above I would say the top one makes a lesser whining noise at faster/full fan speed just more or a whoosh air sound.

I am not a charity and they have nothing of worth for me to buy for now nor a while now.

I used to be AMD fan when they did good CPU's before they bought ATI (big mistake for both companies), the Intel Core2Duo killed that off.
