My 980ti has been running fine at 1450mhz since I got it back in March this year, but I'd love to be able to get to 1500 for that nice round number..

I've tried maxing the voltage slider in Afterburner but that has little to no effect on stability, and 1500mhz crashes after about 10 seconds in Unigine Heaven.

1450 is rock solid stable, but 1500 isn't stable at all under max voltage and power limit in afterburner. Will something like a custom bios help me gain that extra 50mhz or is it not worth?

I can push mine to about 1550mhz but I have it under water so temps don’t go much over 50degrees.

Unless your benching it you won’t see much of a gain.

1450 is the good side of average for a 980ti

Mod the BIOS if you really want the kudos of hitting 1500 but no real world gains to be had

Reduce memory clock in favour or core, not worth it though... buy a 1080 and get a round 2000 :)
Yeah but the 980ti is clock for clock quicker than the 1080 it just doesn't go as high. He'd be better off waiting for Volta.

Anyway he should be able to get 1500+ with a custom bios plus push the memory +300
