not after anything fantastic as dont play that much really but would like to play some of the latter games releases
cheers

RX 560 or GTX 1050Ti for casual gaming. Not that much choice really. So £100-150. If you want to treat yourself then GTX 1060 3GB for £175-ish. I think over £200 for GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 8GB is a bit wasted if not going to play much.

From the cheapest OcUK have available today, this one would be my choice:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £190.49
(includes shipping: £10.50)

RMA is UK-based. When my 680 broke down, they replaced with a 970 which is still going strong. I would nearly always go with KFA2 if choosing from the budget/2 year warranty card selection.

amd r9 290 ive been recommended any good?

On a par with GTX 1060, trades blows, depends on the games. You'll need to find out which model, blower/reference types can be hot and loud. Ones with two fans or more less loud but still hot, draw a lot more power than the 1060. A two or more fan RX 580 would be better than R9 290 if going with AMD, imo.

Which power supply do you have?
