A risky request given the subject matter. One day you're on the internet asking to be enlightened about sex cults, the next you've grown your hair down to you arse and you and your 100 wives are facing down the ATF having murdered a US senator during a sex game gone wrong.

Corporal: relating to the human body.
Corporeal: relating to a person's body, especially as opposed to their spirit.

Basically, Corporeal denotes anything that is tangible as opposed to spiritual. It's often called corporeal punishment in theological books and articles. In this context, all punishments previous mentioned were non-physical, ie blackmail, humiliation, slavery and all that. So in that sense, it could work.... but given how haphazard the short sentences have been copy-pasted into an 'article', it sounds more like an inattentive writer!
The end bit was funny, as it starts talking about this Mack woman, and then goes on to say "he" did this, seemingly now talking about this Raniere bloke...
 
I read the whole article which was a struggle. What part of it made it a sec cult exactly? Or is it just, ya know, click bait. Sex cult sounds more sexy than regular cult, I suppose.

Ermm how does that work then? It's not the sort of thing where they run behind you with a red hot poker.. These are clearly in deliberate places..
