Obviously many of these around all the time but just had an email from "Apple" saying my ID was used recently, I should log in if it wasn't me.

I don't actually have an Apple ID and the box to sign in says "Sing In".

Some of these make me chuckle if it wasn't for the people who would actually fall for it.

So many people pointing flaws lately

No, it's not the latest scam, but perhaps, PERHAPS! This is the first time OP has received an email like this and/or seen emails like this?

Yeah hardly new...I get that email at least once a month. Not had an apple account for about 7 years.

Just received an email that made me think of this thread...

From : James Garry
To : Recipients

This is regarding a deceased client with same last name as yours with a deposit placed under our banks management. I need you to act as the next of kin to the deposit so funds can be released to you. Get back to me immediately for details if interested.

Thank you

James Garry

I have recently had a a sales guy pester me about a Bitcoin trading platform, told him happy storing my coins for now and not doing anything. Bless he did try but had to sternly tell him I am not interested and he's wasting both our time. Get a text the day after with a link to their site, thought I would check it out for ***** and giggles - the giggles were plentiful. Where to start....
  • The site doesn't have any security certificate
  • It strangely has two different sites (one I found myself and the link he sent - both very similar but not exactly the same)
  • Their CEO has different names depending on the country
  • They clearly stole a picture of some random person for the CEO's picture
  • I encourage those with a spare 5 minutes to listen to the promotional video on the site ("$13k in 24 hours and 90 days = millionaire")
  • The first non-ad link on Google for their site is a site showing in detail how big a scam they are
  • Even now when you google them - their site seems to have disappeared
  • Some juicy quotes....
I ask my wife to pinch me every morning when I wake up and check my bank balance. I have never seen a number that big before in MY bank account. And it just continues to grow and grow some more...this is what I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Now that I have a taste of what it really feels like to be my own boss and make tens of thousands of dollars every week, I won’t ever look back!

Then the disclaimer...

'The Bitcoin Code' sales video is fictitious and was produced to portray the potential of 'The Bitcoin Code' 3rd party signals software. Actors have been used to present this opportunity and it should be viewed for entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee income or success, and example results in the video and anywhere else on this website do not represent an indication of future success or earnings.

The shocking level of this scam had me in stitches yesterday.

I do hate to think who falls for these but sadly I guess some do so hopefully publicising them every so often may help someone.
