The overclocked 1070Ti vs 1080 argument

FE/REF card to card what is the price difference between these? I'd be looking for it to go in a small ITX case so the FE version is preferable.

Just checked- from Nvidia the difference is 1070ti £110 cheaper FE vs FE, that's a decent wedge, is the 1080 over 25% faster?

The nvidia 1080 FE's aren't cheap cards by any means. The 1080 Ti is a good deal however. I can't find such a large margin.

I had the seahawk in my freaking checkout basket, but need to wait a few...more days till pay day argh lol haha

My 1080 FE + EK Block holds around 2100 under water, with +500(if I recall correctly) on the mem clock.

Nice so that memory clock takes you to the same as the revised speeds does it not >11Ghz effective?

Believe so, still if I bought now would want the newer version. (Even if it makes very little difference)

Ah screw it got an MSI 1080 seahawk EK coming at £529.99 last in stock it was a no brainer
