Go for the colour that makes it easier to see that tool / nut / washer / screw etc that you put down for 1 second while working on something. :D
 
The more I look at it and consider the point of the green car being in there, I am more tempted to go with light grey and black floor, then decide on the cupboard doors once the floors done.
