I could be wrong, but the Vega 56 reference models may now be EOL and sold out.
In fairness I don't think AMD anticipated the demand levels caused by mining.

just out of interest, when did they sell out. was it Wed or Thurs?
One of those days, cannot remember, had a few hundred but they sold extremely fast, miners were going crazy at us because we refused to take their orders and they were limited online to 1pc per customer.

True but the 56's might be gone because they're being replaced by the non reference models.

when you ordered what time was it .. i got mine in at 8am ish and it was +10 in stock so happy i did it when i did as Amazon had the same price but was out of stock and now magically they are back up to +£450 ish
Amazon just follow others prices, even without knowing what their cost might be. Then when they go to replenish and they get denied as they are trying to buy it too cheap, they tend to not order and will just cancel orders or leave you waiting. Their policy is to simply price follow everyone.
If your order does not ship or has not shipped, do not worry, I have additional VEGA 56 coming from Gigabyte to cover by what we oversold.

At least you had some, When I checked with Amazon they said they will be in the end of the week, I phoned scan and they said early to mid december but will all be around the £429+ mark. Nope. We are sold out now, our only concern is now fulfilling our orders.
I said on Monday VEGA would sell out, it has.
