Cyber Monday

If there's something you were going to buy and it's suddenly cheaper as a result of 'BlackCyber' then it's great, otherwise people just get sucked in by the hype. Old gen tablets and low end TVs being sold off seemed to be the flavour of it all to me.

I bought a PSVR bundled with a game for £249. I'd not long bought one from Amazon for £350 so that order has been returned and I saved £100, plus I got a new game (Skyrim).

So now the question remains, is the PSVR you purchased the newer model or the older one? :D (not that it matters much unless you have an PS4 Pro)

Not quite a cyber monday deal (as it's on until the 30th) but I picked up a Logitech G920 steering wheel with free bundled gearstick, that also had another 30% off.

Total price should have been £270 (with the gearstick), I paid £154

One of those few recurring discounts worth waiting for. Except it was £124.95 when I actually bought mine 2 years previous.

I waited on a QNAP NAS discount but £20 off was the best I could do.

250% discount to get DDR4 RAM kits back to 2016 prices was probably one wish too much :)

Fair comment but yeah, the older one: I don't think the new one is retailing here as yet. I don't have a PS Pro and the TV is a plasma so only 1080! No plans to go to 4K for a little while :D

You and me both. I've been after a wheel for ages and when I saw this, couldn't resist.

Only downside is it's actually a Christmas present so I'm only allowed to look at the brown Logitech box until then :(

Didn't buy a single thing from Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Last few years i managed to pick up a few bits and bobs as chrimbo presents, but absolutely nothing this year...

I still can't make myself dump my P55VT65B - I just have to treat it with care when gaming. I have a PS4 Pro and living room PC but meh, I'd rather have better frame rates than 4K plus a lot of expensive TVs still have issues I can't live with. :)

Massively disappointed with black friday, and cyber monday this year - not only were the deals pretty **** poor; there were no mass punch ups in the news :( I was hoping to see the usual throngs of unwashed punching and kicking the living **** out of eachother, all to save £20 on a Technica TV!

Yea this year was poop.

I was hoping to get a 4k fire TV box for around £50, but Amazon didn't discount it once.

Also everything which was discounted was boreing and not what I wanted.

I did the some cheap OEM rear brake discs and pads for my car for silly cheap though..

Bought the new Wolfenstein for around £17.
Some towels with 30% off, they do get reduced from time to time, but cheapest I've seen.
10% off some blurays/books for Xmas pressies.

No massive savings, but savings which were most welcome!

I found some fantastic bargains over the past 3 days, very happy with my purchases included a PS4 Pro, new broadband provider, various computer components etc.

Picked up an expensive notebook for the girlfriend for Christmas considering it was 50% off and they never do sales. :)

Besides that, it's just general rubbish every year. Sad to see less chavs fighting over Blaupunkt TV's though.

We should all stop buying stuff, lets see how desperate we can get the shops. Ignore buying things until after xmas.

(Not to include small businesses as we need the tax revenue! :)
I screwed that plan over. I bought 3 laptops and a gpu. I got a bit excited...
(I've just sold a house and wanted to get my parents a big christmas gift)
