What is this called that I am after?

Hi, sorry for the vague title, I am after something.

My partner is a teacher. She lost / misplaced the thing.

No idea what it is called.

But you plug 1 bit into a computer / laptop and the other you hold and then you can use it in the classroom / boardroom to move to the next slide etc, from the likes of powerpoint etc. When giving talks, lessons etc.

I am sure there is a proper name for this, but I want to get her a replacement for Christmas.

Any ideas please people.

A £4 laser may have a place in some applications, but not sure a classroom full of kids is one of them.

Of course it will. Perhaps to point at things on the white board? It doesn’t have to be shined into there eyes

I just did a quick Amazon search for USB presenter, you have to look really hard to find one for £3.85 (I got to page 6 and gave up). Could at least have splashed out on this one
