5mm isnt a lot hope the insulation is thick or it will crack.

How bad are the blockages, i don't know how good power flushing is, but in my house the blockage was really bad. I doubt a PF would have shifted it without some acid cleaner, which would cause problems somewhere else. We ended up tracing the blockages using magnets, and then chopped out the bad bits of pipe, and then using some mild cleaner like Sentinel. I even purchased a PF machine, but got scared to use it

I've changed my mind now and decided to use a different plumber who is a good friend of my brother. He's doing the same job except with a Glow Worm boiler (7 year warranty and doesn't need wiring for the pump overrun), a couple of new TRV's, a magnacleanse instead of the powerflush and will be pressurising the central heating.

Quite a simple job of replacing the old one really, nothing major. Loving having hot water again!
