I have no idea whether a Fox was chasing this Rabbit but I came out to my car port to find two dug out holes approx 8" deep behind both front wheels on my MX5. I though that was odd and on closer inspection I saw loads of Bunny fluff underneath each sill.

I reversed the car out to find a Large dead Rabbit and once in the sunlight was faced with these scratches.

I have tried G9 scratch remover and although its done a fairly good job the scratches are still there.

Think I will have to concrete the floor now to prevent further bunny damage.

Anyhow the local body shop is charging me 20 quid to remove said bunny damage. Which I think is very reasonable.

Bizzare.

Not least because the rabbit is (1) dead and (2) still there

Maybe you parked over a dead rabbit and something went nuts trying to get it.

Ooooor the rabbit decided under a slightly warm car was a good place to lie down cos it wasn't feeling well and didn't get up again. Then the above.

I have an issue at the moment with rats and birds lofting in my garage and having their Eartha Kits all over my R8!!!

Country living, serious business :(

I would have seen it...as I drove in...A dead rabbit lying there dead in the middle of my car port.

I once had a rabbit go through the front grille on an MX-5. Also a cat or something tried to claw it's way up one of the wings, which left scratches like that :/

They obviously attract mental animals.

Bad news - Cost you £20

Good news - Free dinner

Free range rabbit probably worth most of that £20 I would think.

Still trying to figure out why the rabbit was digging 2 ditches. Was it trying to make something to survive the cold?

No, you've parked on top of a rabbit (probably killing it) and something has come along and dug those ditches to get to it (along with your scratches)
