Hey everyone so I'm new to pc gaming builds and I have started building a pc using my old desktop and upgrading the general idea is that as it stands my pc can run games such as overwatch fine on high settings with some frame rate dropping I play on low to ensure a steady fps I'm not sure where to invest from now

The case is the zoostorm quest case, it's a small tower / micro tower size I believe

Processor - AMD a8-7650k 10 compute cores 4c+6G 3300 mhz 2 cores 4 logical processors

Graphics Processor - Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050ti 4gb

Power supply 650 watt EVGA 650 GQ

Motherboard - A68hm - plus

I also have 8gb of ddr3 ram which I'm looking to upgrade as it isn't a very well known headed one anyway and I have 2 slots so want 16gb

I feel like my motherboard is holding me back but is there a processor that I could use to not have to replace the whole motherboard? Or am I just going to be pumping money into something which in the long run would be better to replace?

Thank you

Im going to suggest you buy a new board/CPU/RAM.

Did you have a budget? What OS do you have?

as above^^^^^

just upgrading to even a budget Ryzen 3 1200 4 Cores 4 threads you'll see an increase of FPS even at 1080p!

If you happen to have windows 10 and want the cheapest but solid build!

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £352.43 (includes shipping: £10.50)

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Wow, did you really just spec him stuff before him answering the relevant questions, and then also not seeing that his case is mATX form factor so none of those above specs will fit:D

ahh! i googled the wrong board haha . easy to swap out to matx , least it gets across cpu/ pricing as one of the lowest possibilities
pricing doesn't change for mATX version, which is handy hahaha

***and amended , thanks for the heads up of my poor foresight and google skills :D

Its not the lowest possibility;) but I will wait for the OP to actually reply before I jump head in and end up failing like above:D

was about to say , just need AMD to roll out ryzen APU but seen 1050Ti is in there... though now has me pondering if it will beat £100 cards :D

Nope not even that;) what if the OP had just bought what you suggested without anyone spotting the mistake, wouldnt have been a happy chap!
