Teenager told byMcDonalds to remove her hijab because it posed a "security threat"A woman has critic

She got an apology if she says that it is not enough, she can file a complaint and boycott Mcdonalds if it makes her feel better. I don't know what else she wants except attention. Maybe she feels that Muslim garb specifically gets associated with security risks and wants to draw attention to that.

Regardless, if she is gunning for some compensation or for harsh action to be taken against the security guard, it's ridiculous as it seems like this is a training/policy issue rather than anything hate crime related.

Have you ever actually spoken to any Muslim women? Wearing a head scarf is something most do and isn't exactly a sign of oppression. A girl at work loves wearing them as she doesn't have to "spend time faffing with her hair on a morning".

Yeah they do it so they don't have to wash their stinky hair.

They are banned in government run schools, working for the government or in any public institution.

I suggest that you go away and do some research before you make yourself look even more stupid. Oh wait....

Within the context of her religion, perhaps. But it doesn't seem very fair to assume that she carries that view over to all females regardless of their religion or beliefs.

Aye and the real kicker is that religion doesn't say you must wear garment xyz either. It just says to dress modestly. Basically use common sense, which as it appears, some folks here could employ from time to time :o

She seems pretty level headed to be honest, and makes a stand for what's right. Unlike a lot of SJWs who dance up and down shouting and screaming in a tirade of foul language.

What a stupid thing to say.

Of course it’s stupid, if he actually thinks that’s why muslim women wear head scarves.

Which reminds me I must have a whiff of my wife’s hair as she wears one and I’m not too sure she washes her hair when having a shower ;)

What?

Where does this even come from?

His ignorance and stupidity;).

Sure. Same with all the naked cyclist and other naked rallies that go on.

Different peoples interpretation of modesty is a major issue in this world.
Shame the law doesn't share you view, hence we all have to wear clothes that societies agree are acceptable.

Why does anyone need to be modest at all is a question I often ponder. It's odd as it seems perfectly acceptable for 'popstars' to dress like whores yet if you or I dressed in an immodest or provocative way you can bet we'd see an issue!

There are certain elements within Islam that believe women who don't cover themselves are inviting sexual advances. It is literally saying that Muslim women who don't dress modestly have only themselves to blame if a man rapes them.
