I bought a Xmas present from a company in Denmark that is shipping from Spain.

It's coming with GLS. I've had tracking information since the 24th of November and I would actually say this is coming via a donkey. The package is averaging about 200km a day, by road....

I have never seen anything like this before. Are GLS a known company? How do they do it this slow? I'm strangely impressed with the slowness lol.

I just hope it makes it to me by Xmas day. God forbid they make a mistake on the order too.

Friend of mine had a phone shipped by GLS from Italy to the UK ... we decided it was indeed being shipped by a granny on a donkey given the speed of shipping although he did spend some time trying to get GLS NL to banter about GLS DE on Twitter ....

By contrast, I ordered something from Germany shipped with them. Dispatched Tuesday evening, arrived Thursday morning.

Its not all bad!

I'll post the tracking info when it finally gets here.
It's like the best dot to dot ever!

It got out of France in 4 days and it cleared all of Germany a in 1 day :P

Sehr gut mien couriershaffenzie

worst i've experienced is an store on amazon that sells airsoft stuff, they're in southern ireland (and i'm up north) so it shouldn't take a month, but it does, and the package always smells of fish (presumably rotten if the fish are on the same lorry as the parcel).

i could literally walk to the store and back in less time than it takes them to ship it

I've ordered quite a bit of watercooling stuff from a place in the Netherlands that uses them and always had it delivered within a week, the last order was placed on the first of this month and arrived today.

Could be worse, could be trying to travel through Dublin airport. Sent a parcel to Ireland in November, usually takes 2 days. It's still sitting in customs. Royal Mail joked and said it might get there before Christmas. Luckily because we're still in the EU there are no charges to pay for this privilege while our customer waits for items to help with their medical condition.
