OK so cooler is going back via OcUK RMA.

I'm thinking of getting the following with the funds.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £103.91 (includes shipping: £0.00)

I think this is my final basket to finish off the build.

The 24 pin and 8 pin to the GPU would look a lot better with white sleeved cables. I assume the ones I have selected are just plug and play?

Need a splitter still as I'll have total 4 RGB components and only 2 headers.

Gone for the Dark Rock 3 over the H7 for noise and asthetics. It should also fit without overhanging the 2nd DRAM slot.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £105.90 (includes shipping: £0.00)

If you haven't ordered yet:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £53.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

The H7 performs better than the Dark Rock 3 thermally, but is cheaper and matches your white colour scheme better. It also has a 6 year warranty, Dark Rock 3 only comes with a 3 year.

With the central positioning of the heatpipes and the heat sink to the base plate, the CPU cooler can be installed in such a way that it does not protrude over the RAM modules

Maximum RAM Height: Unlimited

But ofcourse either choice is good, just another option.

Why I linked bequiet/Alohacool AIO unit to yourself .
Rock is more expensive but you pay for the engineering.
Should check out their YouTube I think, videos of how they make their coolers and design details etc
Cryorig have done well though for such a young company , reminds me of nzxt

It is no doubt well made and looks nice, but for the price it doesn't perform so well among the competition in some ways:

If it was £40-£45 instead of £63 this would be a totally different story.

Sound is quite a difference , specially with all that science stuff of every increase db is double the loudness of the previous ... Or something like that .
And think both of those cooler would do better running custom fan profiles :D
I did like the little fan they stuck on their AIO units, smart move imo

The H5 does look nice, but the Dark Rock 3 seems to be pretty quiet :)

Decisions!

Refund received from OcUk for the cooler. Purchased the H5 in the end along with an RGB strip and some cable extensions to complete the look.

Once fitted I'll be OCing the 1600. I'll be happy with 3.8 on modest voltage.

Will be fine with that...I have the slightly cheaper H7 and cools my 3.8ghz 1600 fine and silent!

Order came today, but unfortunately the H5 still doesn't come with the am4 bracket so had to request one from Cryorig. Everything else has been dropped into the case, the wires look very smart and help bring the black/white build together. The RGB strip finishes off the lighting since loosing 2 RGB fans at the front.

I'll get some new photos when I have the H5 fitted.

Good to know. What settings did you go for with for the OC?

Everything on Auto, memory XMP enabled @ 3200 and just had to bump memory to 1.4v.

To get any higher I had to start fiddling with other settings so just went back to the nice easy 3.8ghz overclock.

My AM4 bracket I requested from Cryorig hasn't shipped yet, I've been reading many people taking months to get one. I dropped them a support ticket to see what they say, but if the wait is going to be long I may as well return it as I cannot use it.

RMA for the Cryorig has been approved, so that's going back. Heard nothing from Cryorig since I requested the AM4 kit, and OcUK said they have no ETA on stock so I can only assume there's a shortage of the kits.

I have requested the AM4 kit from Be Quiet! if that progresses then I'll be ordering the Dark Rock 3.

Spoke to bequiet , their current UK stock should have AM4 bracket in the box . Most UK retailers haven't updated their sites, think was down to bequiet not stating the stock change .
Why I linked them, along with their AIO as brackets should be shipped , if not it's usually 24 hours shipped from NL
