If you haven't ordered yet:I think this is my final basket to finish off the build.
The 24 pin and 8 pin to the GPU would look a lot better with white sleeved cables. I assume the ones I have selected are just plug and play?
Need a splitter still as I'll have total 4 RGB components and only 2 headers.
Gone for the Dark Rock 3 over the H7 for noise and asthetics. It should also fit without overhanging the 2nd DRAM slot.
My basket at Overclockers UK:
- 1 x Phanteks RGB LED Strip Starter Kit (PH-LEDKT_CMBO)= £13.99
- 1 x be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler= £62.99
- 1 x Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut High Performance Thermal Paste - 1 Gramm= £4.99
- 1 x Akasa RGB LED splitter cable= £8.99
- 1 x Phanteks 24-Pin ATX Cable Extension 50cm - Sleeved White= £7.99
- 1 x Silverstone 8-pin PCIe 6+2 Pin 25cm PCIe Extension - White= £6.95
With the central positioning of the heatpipes and the heat sink to the base plate, the CPU cooler can be installed in such a way that it does not protrude over the RAM modules
Maximum RAM Height: Unlimited

It is no doubt well made and looks nice, but for the price it doesn't perform so well among the competition in some ways:Why I linked bequiet/Alohacool AIO unit to yourself .
Rock is more expensive but you pay for the engineering.
Should check out their YouTube I think, videos of how they make their coolers and design details etc

If it was £40-£45 instead of £63 this would be a totally different story.
Both would probably be quieter for you, as Ryzen 1600 uses less power than an overclocked 4770k.The H5 does look nice, but the Dark Rock 3 seems to be pretty quiet
Decisions!
I will be OCing the 1600.

Refund received from OcUk for the cooler. Purchased the H5 in the end along with an RGB strip and some cable extensions to complete the look.
Once fitted I'll be OCing the 1600. I'll be happy with 3.8 on modest voltage.
Will be fine with that...I have the slightly cheaper H7 and cools my 3.8ghz 1600 fine and silent!
Good to know. What settings did you go for with for the OC?
RMA for the Cryorig has been approved, so that's going back. Heard nothing from Cryorig since I requested the AM4 kit, and OcUK said they have no ETA on stock so I can only assume there's a shortage of the kits.
I have requested the AM4 kit from Be Quiet! if that progresses then I'll be ordering the Dark Rock 3.
