Under promise and over deliver. Pretty standard with apple unless it is in stock in the UK warehouse.
From reading other forums, they have plenty of stock in the UK. Most are getting next day delivery.

Edit: just checked the Apple store and most stores are showing pickup today for all models.

Funny to see people on places like Gumtree still trying to cash in by putting their own markup on the price, when they're really not that hard to get.

If only they'd undercut RRP for the greater good :P

I saw an iPhone X 64GB on eBay yesterday for £1399 buy it now, no one can be that stupid to buy it at that price.

How are people finding the battery life? I came from a 6s plus and I can’t be sure if the battery life on the 10 is better, worse or the same. I expected it to noticeably better

Battery life for me has been slightly better than my 7 Plus. However, I always set up as a new device which doesn’t drag any corrupt files across as I also beta test iOS

mobiles.co.uk has refurbished ones for £899 (64gb) if anyone wanted one a bit cheaper.

I imagine they're just ones people ordered to look at and return it, and would assume still be covered by Apple warranty?

They should be yes.

I’d also imagine they are just returns. As long as they have not been dropped it anything they should be good to go.

Yeah I’m lazy to do this as it takes so much longer than restoring from iTunes backup! Perhaps I should consider doing it the long way to see if battery improves

Anyone know of an iPhone X case with port covers, but not the super thick, hench, makes your phone 5x as thick type cases. Any ideas? I can't seem to find any in the UK. There's the Otterbox Commuter Case but isn't sold over here

All four models of iPhone X are available at the London stores for immediate pickup (I just checked Covent Garden). So there can't be too much of a shortage.

Battery life over my 7 Plus has been great, and unlike most I restored from an iTunes backup.

I'm a fairly heavy user as well, and thanks to YouTube app finally being updated has gotten even more life out of the battery. Very impressed so far.

I restore from iCloud, never done a fresh install so to speak and I get about a day and a half out of my battery. I tend to slow charge it using my wireless dock overnight though but if I forget I have enough to get me to work and then home the next day.
