gtx1070 and gtx1080 g1

I am now gearing towards either a gtx1070 or a 1080 g1 card i have been using the amd radion range for over 10 years and only had one fail in one of my rigs after 5 years so they have been quite reliable was wondering how reliable these card's are

Only had one GPU fail and that was mining on an old 7990 and pushing it way too hard for too long.

Cards come with long warranties now.

A 1080 might* be a little bit overkill at that res.

There are no 4k 144hz panels, unless you mean you will be using DSR on a 1080P panel?

For reference I've had a fair of 8600gt which as far as i am aware still work and a 1060 which has worked for 2 years solid. However i've had 3 ATI cards fail within 2 years (290, 290windforce, 390)
Take it as you will but remember you're only gaurenteed it to work for as long as your warrenty
