Create space in loft

Thanks for digging through them :) I assume the wood purlins still on show post boarding were not there before and are what you added?

Yeh we had a trussed loft, the trusses were removed and a 9x3 purlin installed on each side.
Also the tie-bars accross the ridge were also installed at the same time(1 tie bar each side of each rafter)
I also had the joiners enlarge the loft hatch ready to take the new bigger hatch and ladder.

I might have the engineers documents on email somewhere, he did take some rubbish pictures before any work was carried out. house is a little upside down still at the moment though as I'm trying to get all rooms finished before next Friday before the carpet fitters comes.
I plastered the channel in the wall myself as I couldn't get a plasterer in time, its sitting slightly proud so I started sanding it last night, and oh god the dust, Bearing in mind the room is abut 2.5m x 2.5m I couldn't see the door from the other side of the room :D:D
Carpet fitter is due next Friday, I am not free until about 6pm tonight. and I will be getting home at 6pm every night this week.
I still have to
paint bedroom 3 top to bottom (1 wall pink, 3 walls magnolia)
re-attached skirting in bedroom 3
caulk skirting board in bedroom3, landing and loft
touch-up few "mistakes" in loft
tidy loft
move furniture from bedroom2 to 3
paint skirting in bedroom 2
paint walls in bedroom 2
attached architrave around loft hatch, fill and stain gaps.

I think its going to be a bit tight

Focus on the vital bits I would do all the skirting bits first as they are a massive pain to do with carpet in and then any ceilings. Walls are easy enough with some big dust sheets to catch any drops etc.
