best budget gpu to buy tomorrow

i would try and find 3gb 1060

I just had a look and the cheapest 1060's are £180 so they are over your budget but they are well worth spending the extra £20 if you can get it.

depending on what games you need the card for, there isnt a whole lot of choice from OCUK for a good card at the price, so without a stretch to a 1060, these 2 probably best(not specifically the brands, but spec/price) you can get on a new purchase.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £266.48 (includes shipping: £10.50)

for used wise, you could find a r9 380.

If you put in £20 more, you can get a 3GB 1060 from a popular exchange shop. They offer 2 years warranty on it too.

I bought one for my first build. I received a Manli dual fan card, which is excellent. It's super cool, quiet and overclocks a bit too. :)

just not sure about used dont want a duff card a 1060 would be best for sure out of the 1050ti or the 560 which is better?

If you don't want a duff card I would spend the extra £20 and get a 1060 it's nearly twice as fast.

Here is some benchmarks:

Overclockers are currently sold out but here is what I would buy

If you are spending £180 to £190 on a GTX1060 3GB,I would seriously consider a RX570 4GB for £10 to £20 more,or perhaps seeing if there is a deal on a GTX1060 6GB,since they can be had for £230.

My main concern is the 3GB of VRAM as plenty of cards on Steam like the GTX970 have 4GB,and 3GB is neither here nor there and if you intend to keep the card for two to three years,I would seriously consider spending some more money on the graphics card.

OP,as you only have 8GB of system RAM this video is worth watching:

Look at the difference in performance(and minimums) with a GTX1060 3GB against a GTX1060 6GB if you have less than 16GB of system RAM,even at 1080p.

Edit!!

OFC,it would be useful to know what games you want to play in the first place!

i guess i could go to £200 but no more games playing are call of duty WW2 Eurotrucksim 2 Planet coaster fernbus sims 4 i will put in another 8gb of ram at some point in the future too

That’s the problem with gpu’s or many pc parts ‘another £20-£30’ will often get you to the next notch up and you end up spending far more than you wanted to lol.

The difference here though is the extra £20 over his budget will get nearly double the performance.

If only it was always like that.

are all 1060 the same ? are all 1050ti the same ? as there is diffeance in price
i also need a monitor for the games im playing see post above would the 1050ti be ok? or would get bottleneck with the ryzen 1600? trying to get both GPU and Monitor for as little as poss as budget is really tight would be max £270 for both and going to overclockers today to buy late afternoon
