New year's resolutions?

Whats your gut saying?

Electroneum will rocket in about 18 months.

Litecoin will continue to the moon but will hover for the next month or so.

ETH will stay about where it is.

Bitcoin will exit the solar system in a couple of years but I'm too scared to touch it.

IOTA will go nowhere despite the superior way it works.

All of the above is rubbish.

Well I have taken 2.5 stone of this year, another 2 next year would be good and paced correctly so it doesn't fly back on. I expect to put half a stone on over Christmas so probably another 2.5 stone next year! Outside of that get myself fitter, so walk more and sit much less but that's it.

Quit smoking on the 1st October, my worst ever vice. Massive chapter to close.

Now planning to get fitter, postponed until 2018 as Christmas means over indulgence. Checking the NHS BMI calulator shows that I am officially overweight for my height. :( To be fair nothing new.

I was too chicken to step on any scales and only recently for the first time in about 10 years. According to the calculator, I need to lose a stone to be considered safely back within healthy range. Nothing too tortuous planned.

I hate Gyms, so moderate diet change, regular walking, jogging, and swimming is the goal. If I can lose a stone or two; Won't half be chuffed.

I am looking forward to the challenge to be honest.

Well I've been vegan for 3 months now so to keep up with that. Though I forsee no issue.

Continue to improve with my business and attend various courses.

Get my puppy at some agility shows

I can't remember the last time I was in bed before midnight :p

When I was living at home, in my teens, and I went out on the weekend, my old Mum would say, “What time will you be home son?” I’d say, “If I’m not in bed by one in the morning Mum, I’ll come home, okay?”

I was a heavy drinker but haven't touched it since November. I intend to be sober every day next year. Money saved will be used to buy a new PC.

Gave me pause for thought there, I drink maybe a litre of good vodka, at home, about every two weeks, £18 X 26 fortnights = £468, we go out to dinner at least once a week, and I’ll probably drink at least one bottle of wine, averaging £24 a bottle, 52 X £24 = £1248, I dont go in a pub very often, but when I do, I spend around £30, say 26 times per year, = £780.
Math isn’t my long suit, but I make that £2496, let’s say £2500.
I can’t be you know what to Google prices, but I reckon that would get me a new iMac with a fair sized monitor, plus a decent laptop or top of the range iPad.
The fly in the ointment is, I like the old laughing water too much to want to quit, so I’ll suffer the iMac and iPad I have now.

Saving money when quitting habits. In theory you can see the benefits, but in reality in order to reap the benefits - It is literally a case of withdrawing the cash you would have spent and placing in a pot so you can physically see it grow.

The same with car insurance, I switched recently, saved £250 in the process. Don't get me wrong I am pleased. However across a 12 month period, I doubt I will notice to reap the benefit? The same with cash, if I have £100 in my wallet; it tends to get quickly blown on inconsequential spend. :o

I have quite a few, I need to get them all done in next year.

Earn my MCSA in Windows Server 2016 certification
Earn my MCSE in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification
Earn my Security + certification
Pass my German Language course
Pass the next grade in Krav Mega
Get a better paid job in German or Switzerland :)

I've always tried to do something fun or achievable as a resolution

Last year I decided to see if I could learn how to juggle (daft I know) before the end of this year.
As of just last week I achieve this. Could have done it much sooner, just did not put any practice in.

This year I plan to walk Cuilcagh Way (Stairway to heaven in Fermanagh)

trust my gut with crypto investment.
