Meh, i think it will bomb. Nothing against the cast or the idea but they are just rehashing something for the sake of putting female leads in. Assuming they are wanting to appeal to female fans I don’t see this helping, my missus didn’t want to see the original (looks **** she said :p) and on mentioning this her words were “still looks rubbish, just rubbish with women in, at least George Clooney is attractive” :D:p

Not much to go on there except I can't stand Sandra Bullock.

Next up we'll have Charlies Angels, with male Hells Angels trained in martial arts solving mysteries and saving the world.

I have a policy of stopping watching shows once they start pushing feminism/lgbt things in an artificial way like this.
That's roughly ended up being about half the shows I watch over the course of 2017.

Lolz

What makes it artificial compared to Oceans 11 which was just a remake of a 60's ratpack movie?

All female cast = feminism apparently?

All male cast is fine though?

My guess would be -

All female cast of an original film = No issue.

All female cast in a remake of a hugely popular film which starred an all male cast = Issue.

That issue being "is the film solely being made 'female only' for a very specific reason needed by the storyline" or it simply to show "women can do it too"?

From my own point it's not something I'd see in the cinema but I'd rent it if the film is good, regardless of casting.

From my own point of view I'd say it's quite sad that studios still feel they have bootstrap an existing franchise rather than have the confidence that a new female led movie will work on its own.

All female Brokeback Mountain or nowt!
I'll watch that.
Sounds good to me :p
Imagine the uproar.
I'd never watch a female rehash.
Err I stand corrected. I'd watch this one.
Good idea as I haven't seen the original but would happily watch this :D

You bunch of pervs nearly got your way with Emma Watson and Margot Robbie in the lead roles. Unfortunately, it was a widely reported hoax that got repeated all over the place.

Can't see any reason an all female Oceans film wouldn't work.

Certainly, I can't believe women would make a worse fist of it than '12'. Utter garbage that was. and they still made another!
