PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Nah its easy, just look at example below, its ad revenue that gets them the money, for example shroud has 120 times that of the below example, he gets $3 for each of his 30,000+ subscribers, thats $90,000 x 12, 1 million a year just there, and ad revenue lot more than that, then you got the constant donations, and they are constant for him, god, he gets 40,000 watching him each stream.

Twitch example, partner program, let's say 10,000 viewers a month and 250 subscribers, you'll be making around $3200 a month from ads and another $625 from subscribers.

I simply cannot believe a 24 year old playing computer games is making 2 million dollars a year. There has to be a catch or something else going on.

Before taxes I think he easily clears 2 million dollars a year.

He has about 30K subs, biggest streamers get the biggest cut per $5 sub. People estimate he is probably getting $4 a sub, that alone is $120,000 a month. Say he streams 25 days a month which he easily does if not more, very conservative donation amount is $2000 a day. He has some days that are tens of thousands, even excluding those days it's $50,000 a month from donations. Then his C9 contract is likely around $20,000 a month. That's $190,000 a month as a relatively conservative figure before you consider ad revenue, any personal sponsorship deals or promotional events.

The mind boggles doesn't it?

I just can't grasp the concept of paying to watch someone play video games.

how does simple maths work out someones figures that you have no access to ? twitch gets half his sub money.he has deals.lirik dont even get a million a year.which is published.many top twitch streamers arent even on 100,00 a year.many people add figures up and get a false earnings number. he has 5000 viewes per day avg. he isnt getting 2 million a year lol.

Have you looked into this at all?

If me or you start streaming, twitch takes takes half. The bigger your viewership and sub count, the larger your share of the sub money.

Shroud averages 30,000 concurrent viewers per stream, where have you got 5000 from?? Check here: http://www.twitchmetrics.net/c/37402112-shroud

This before even considering the substantial amount of money he will earn from ad revenue from both Twitch and Youtube.

IMO, 2 Million is conservative.

yes but the thing is you dont know the actual data you are going off other sites.i do know media i understand it.he doesnt earn 2 million.happens with all the big streamers youtubers.they earning millions yet driving round in corsas lol.

just for quick laugh i checked his youtube earning for last year his earnings came in at about £50,000.thats going off his current monthly views of his highest peak month and x 12 which he hasnt had all year.so its more likely to be about £30,000 given his figures this year. his total views for his channel earned since 2014 is £38,400.thats for 63,696,021 views.so no matter how you look at it and twitch revenue he isnt earning anything like people with no idea think he is.

anyways...back to pubg first game of the day in duos on euro nice chicken dinner.:p

Even Sacriel who pulls in a tenth of Shroud owns a Tesla Model S which is £120,000.

Shroud isn't a flashy guy and doesn't have a drivers license.

some do earn decent money but its not as much as people think.many toys and stuff are business gifts or deals they get not from earnings.people dont even realize when that massive donation goes in 99 percent its from a friend or relative or someone linked to the person streaming.or a business maybe paying for something or to be involved with the person or the very person himself to make media news.just like it happens.

oh look shroud just got donated add x amount goes across internet.:p

robi checked summits figures for youtube £33,000 since his youtube channel started.even if you double treble the figures they are not earning what you think they are.i like watching the people we are talking about shroud is the best pubg player ive seen . he just aint pulling in millions.

I'm afraid he is DG.. lirik does 1.5 million a year but he's been streaming a lot longer then shroud. But shroud gets a lot more donations then any streamer I've seen plus he peaked at 36000 subscribers about a month ago and he also has tier 2 and tier 3 subs which is more per month.. I can't be arsed doing the maths as I'm on my way home from work but shroud makes ridiculous amounts of moneys as does lirik..

He's also just bought a house which he's moving into this week aswell.. mortgage free at 24 not bad life is it.

Shroud is'nt really what you would call a youtube content creator (I think iirc he pays someone to manage his channel). He hit 30K paid subscribers on twitch in September, I have no idea what his numbers are now but they will have only gone up. You get $2.5 per subscriber IIRC with Amazon taking the rest. He's pulling at least 75K a month in from Subs alone.

Sorry shrowd does get a million just from twitch subs, $3 each sub fact, x 30,000(even thou its more like 32,000 as a month ago) = $90K a month x 12 =$1,080,000, thats just from the small subs, ad revenue/donations multiple that easily, oh and just last month he had 10million plus views, god knows the ad revenue from that, how do you get that equates to just 5000 viewes a day, thats just like 150,000 a month, his official last month was 10million, daily average
336,340.

$3 per sub (at minimum, more like $4)

32,000 subs

3*32000 = 96,000

96,000*12 = $1,152,000

That's ignoring all other revenue streams. How can you deny this? Baffles me.

because you do not know the actual figures or money earnt.so what happens is people just guess.no one actually knows how much he earns.its happened before with massive youtubers it always will.also there are other factors which many wont know about.spam accounts dead accounts blah blah media accounts.fake accounts being made to boost popularity may not be being paid for eg.

for eg you just shown above 1 million quid.youtube earnt him 30,000 that aint 2 million.people just guessing at figures.he earns a lot we just dont know how much.

as said previously he is the best person i seen at pubg just not entertaining.docs better at that.
