Hey guys I am about to buy parts for my second build and would like some advice. I need a GPU, RAM, PSU, HDD and a case. My budget is £750, could push to £820 but really no higher than that. I a already have ASUS B350-PLUS motherboard with Ryzen 5 1600. I just sold my Gigabyte Windforce 1060 3GB from previous build and would be nice if I could get something beefier in terms of graphics card but I'm not sure how much the budget allows for it.

Here are the current parts I've picked but I'm sure you guys can pick something better.

Total: £810.95 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Yeah I've thought about that but isn't 16 a bit too much? From what I understand no game uses more than 6, or is this outdated info I got?

I would say that 16GB is becoming the norm.

What about the Inno3D one though?

I don't know how good that particular gpu is but it should be quieter/cooler than the Asus as it is a dual fan design. The Blower cooler on the Asus is pretty noisy once it gets under load.

If I figure out how to save around £40-60 then I should put that towards a better brand GPU?

Asus is a good brand it's just that particular version is poor. If you went with a cheaper case, maybe something like the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Glass that would knock £60 off the build. It doesn't have RGB fans but it is a really nice case imo.

Also going with the Antec psu I suggested above saves another £15 or so.

Yeah I guess I'l go with this case then. RGB Isn't really a must, also the Lian-Li case hasn't got the best airflow in the world apparently. So if I can spend £60 more which GPU would you recommend around £470?

I would go with this MSI if you want one of the big brands.

Go for their p300 unit if you want to cut costs ! Small and glass :)

Have gigabyte 1070 Ti myself, UK RMA and the fact your can remove the cooler without voiding warranty does it for me .
Love the Asus Strix cards, but very expensive and warranty is on lock down
That MSI unit should be quiet with dual 100mm fans

Any idea if I would be able to fit the BORA fans from 550 editions on the p300 case later on?

Like most cases now putting form over function , not the best . Have air gaps at the top and bottom , Lian Li and others that have glass fronts have vents as a frame boarder which still can't beat an open front design like Meshy C case , but that is on the small side so front AIO and GPU can clash . Worth a look though !
High static fans are golden in restrictive cases either inside or vents to pull air in - high air flows are great for expelling but useless at sucking through tight constraints
