Yet another vehicular attack on pedestrians, this time in Melbourne

Are you kidding me? Anytime there is some sort report of a criminal event in progress it either becomes a Muslim bashing multi page thread, or when it's discovered to not be islamic terror related, it dies after a few pages.

Was just thinking that. The Vegas shooter I don’t think ever established a motive?

Yup, VincentHanna got 1 out of 2 right, the Vegas killer wasn't classed as terrorism (I think technically it could have actually been under state law but not under federal law), on the other hand the guy driving his car into the protestors was clearly political and the federal government investigated it on the basis that it was a terror attack, however from what I understand there isn't any specific domestic terror crime he will be charged with but that is simply the reason for the feast to investigate.

Did you miss the Vegas shooter thread or something? I'm pretty sure that carried on despite not being an Islamist attack.

To be honest one notices a lot more of an excitable reaction from the likes of you when it's shown not to be a muslim terrorist atrocity, than one notices from those supposedly salivating at it being one.
The likes of me. Righto. Maybe I’m just glad to live in a world where it turns out it’s not a reasonable assumption that any incident is Islamic terrorism...

But it is a reasonable assumption. In the same way it was reasonable to assume the IRA when there was a bombing in the 70s/80s.
It’s not just bombings, though, is it? Anything can happen - stabbing, car accident, whatever - and people are leaping to conclusions.

And what is more human than that? It's just a more emotive phrase for making assumptions, which is the most basic trait of human intelligence.

You do it, whether you like it or not. Do you see a fat person and assume they're lazy? Or a woman with short died hair and assume they're gay? Etc.

If you never leap to conclusions about anything then you're either a deity or a bit thick.

It's not any stabbing or any car accident though, is it? There are specific patterns, which is why swat are deployed when a brown person mounts the pavement and hits a group of people. That wouldn't have been the response 3-4 years ago, but it's now a recognised MO.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle-ramming_attack

There's a nice list of attacks on there, I think you'll find a lot of them in recent years were committed by Islamic terrorists. And I'm being generous by using the words 'a lot''.
Oh come on, it's a huge leap to go from a list of vehicle-ramming attacks in which almost all were committed by muslim terrorists to saying that most vehicle ramming attacks are committed by muslamic terrorists. Such a massive leap. Huge.

The statistics are biased and fake news.

Oh sorry.

Ploughing in to a crowd whilst mentally ill and on drugs = terrorism

Shooting 58 people and injuring 500+ = murder.

I feel like you're trying to apply equality by suggesting we should change the definition of terrorism so that it doesn't pick on Islamic terrorists, you couldn't make this up LOL

Terrible people will do things like this regardless of their religion, favourite fruit etc and make up an excuse to "justify" it.

I haven't read anything yet that says he is a Muslim. He's claimed he did this due to treatment of Muslims, but that doesn't make him one. Seems people are reading into it too much to try and justify their usual Islam bashing.
