Fuzzy graphics when moving in games?

So very recently whenever I play games such as Overwatch the graphics are fuzzy whenever I move about? When stationary everything is normal.

I haven't changed any settings on anything. No issues with hardware as far as I can tell. The only thing that's happened is an update to the graphics driver, but no idea why that would make this happen.

Any idea's how to fix this please?

Your monitor hasn't defaulted to a lower refresh rate, has it? Might be worth quickly checking in Windows and in the game that it hasn't dropped to 30Hz.

I've tried taking pictures but it doesn't show up in them very well, I've also just noticed it's happening when I scroll on this page too, everything is fuzzy when moving.

It may be the "Overdrive" setting on the monitor itself. Having mine set to "Extreme" give similar results to what your description says. Set overdrive to "Off" or "Normal" and it should be ok.

Edit.
Unless it's an Acer Z1 27inch like mine and it could be a fault with that setting, in which I may return it.

Clamp turned off in nvidia control panel? Nvidia says its running at 144hz but what does monitor osd say?

What is clamp? :O

Nvidia and monitor state 144hz

I don't see a setting for that on the monitor.

It's an Acer XB240H monitor

Sounds like low framerate. Are you able to measure with Afterburner?

I use Afterburner and also in-game metrics - getting 300fps in Overwatch like usual.

Really confused by this, it's annoying when playing games! :(
