I’m off till 2nd but on call NY day from 8am

there's thousands of other jobs, infrastructure needs to be run and maintained both national and private companies.
So looking forward to new years day a couple of days off.

I had Xmas Eve, Xmas Day & Boxing Day off and I've got NYE and NYD off. No cushy 2 weeks off over Xmas or anything like that for me.

Only got Xmas Eve and NYE off as they are Sundays and I'm not contracted to work Sundays. Any other year and I would be working them too.

Working 21 consecutive 14 hour shifts away from home, from Boxing day right through. No alcohol allowed at any time.

Was off 25th 26th, worked 27th and 29th, was on call for 30th and 31st, booked rest of this week off to use up the remainder of last years holidays I didn't take.
